BluePay Wins Two Stevie® Awards in 2016 American Business Awards
NAPERVILLE, IL (May 6, 2016) - BluePay, a well-known leader in the payment processing industry dedicated to delivering secure integrated payments technology, is honored to announce that they have been named the winner of a Silver Stevie® Award in the Information Technology Team of the Year category, as well as a Bronze Stevie® Award in the Customer Service Department of the Year (Financial Services) category in The 14th Annual American Business Awards. This is BluePay's first time being nominated for these awards.
The American Business Awards are the nation's premier business awards program. All organizations operating in the U.S.A. are eligible to submit nominations - public and private, for-profit and non-profit, large and small. Nicknamed the Stevies for the Greek word meaning "crowned," the awards will be presented to winners at a gala ceremony at the Marriott Marquis Hotel, in New York, on Monday, June 20.
Awarded a Silver Stevie®, BluePay's talented in-house development team was recognized for its ability to stay at the forefront of technology in the competitive payments industry. BluePay's technology is 100% developed in-house, never outsourced, by a team of 50+ developers. The team continues to deliver highly scalable, optimized solutions to meet the needs of its clients.
"We are extremely honored and humbled to be recognized by The American Business Awards for our commitment to delivering cutting-edge payment technology," commented Joel Tosi, Chief Technology Officer at BluePay. "Competing in a category with one of the most well-respected networking technology companies in the world is a major distinction for BluePay."
BluePay's exceptional customer service department, honored with a Bronze Stevie® Award, was recognized for its investment in, and commitment to, the client and partner experience. The department's ongoing support and customer service deliver focused personal attention to their clients' and partners' financial welfare and data security.
Their impressive list of 2015 initiatives included the implementation of a Voice of the Customer (VOC) survey and assessment program, creation of a team of National Account Managers for dedicated enterprise-level support, and launch of a new company website with an expansive online support section. From the VOC findings, BluePay created three teams - partner, SMB, and enterprise - to evaluate feedback from the survey and implement processes to improve the way they support clients and partners, and ultimately to improve their Net Promoter Score of 45%, amongst the highest in the credit card industry.
Nicole Palella, Chief Customer Officer at BluePay, said, "Winning a Bronze Stevie® Award for our Customer Service Department is an amazing accomplishment for BluePay. We have been laser-focused on our Voice of the Customer surveys and NPS score in order to deliver a frictionless experience to our partners and merchants. We are thrilled to be acknowledged for our customer-focused culture."
More than 3,400 nominations from organizations of all sizes and in virtually every industry were submitted this year for consideration in a wide range of categories. More than 250 professionals worldwide participated in the judging process to select this year's Stevie Award winners.
"The judges were extremely impressed with the quality of entries we received this year. The competition was intense and every organization that has won should be proud," said Michael Gallagher, president and founder of the Stevie Awards.
